Are you a fan of great RnB, Dance, and Jazz? Are you thinking of having a great RnB, Dance, and Jazz band entertain you and your guests at your wedding or corporate function? Do you want a band guaranteed to have you dance the night away? Well you have found one... Soul Nights is that band. Soul Nights is the only band to consider when organizing a birthday party, engagement party, bucks or hens night, wedding, right through to your next company function.

So what separates this band from the rest, why is this band so popular and recognized as Sydney’s premier wedding and corporate party band?

Firstly take a look at their carefully created song list which includes songs from today’s most loved contemporary international RnB, and dance artists such as Kayne West, Sam Sparrow, Fergie, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Pussy Cat Dolls, Justin Timberlake, Santana, Alicia Keys, Pink, Sneaky Sound System, Kings of Leon, Kelly Rowland, Jay Sean, Black Eyed Peas, Amy Winehouse, Ciara, and John Legend. Jazz and blues artists such as Michael Buble, Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Aretha Franklin. Through to classic 70’s, 80’s and 90’s artists such as Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, The Commodores, George Benson, Earth Wind & Fire, Taste of Honey, Kool & the Gang, Jamiroquai, Bee Gees, Lenny Kravitz, Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Pointer Sisters, Prince, U2, The Supremes, the Four Tops, Chaka Khan, and many more. Secondly, consider the sheer credibility of each and every performer who make up this group.

So when considering which party band to choose for your special event, Soul Nights should be on top of your list as your wedding band, corporate band and function band.

On drums you have Emilio Panetta who has performed with and/or acted as musical director for Jessica Mauboy, Altiyan Childs, Shannon Noll, Ricki Lee, Guy Sabastian, Young Divas, Anthony Callea, Deni Hines, Roachford (UK), and Mika Paris (UK).

Guitar – Chris Kamzelas. Credentials include resident guitarist in the Australian Idol Band, Jessica Mauboy, Altiyan Chids, Shannon Noll, Tina Arena, and Russell Crowe.

Bass – Yaw Glymin. Yaw has played bass for several years with bands such as ‘Kalabash’, the premier Afro-Caribbean band of Sydney and ‘Credo’, an experimental World Fusion band with ex-members of 80’s classical jazz group, ‘The Posh’. Yaw joined the ‘Riva Band’ in 1993 and performed at the Riva Nite Club at the Sheraton on the Park Sydney for six years as well as performing at numerous corporate functions and wedding receptions. The Riva Band resided in Singapore in 1994 and 1996 performing at the Caesar’s Nite Club and The Hard Rock Café respectively. Yaw has also played bass for Christine Anu Band at Womadelaide.

Keyboard – Ben Calefati. Easily the most respected keyboardists in Sydney. Ben is an alumnus of Australia's prestigious Conservatoire of Music. Yes, he's been classically trained, but his styles range from classical to jazz to pop to contemporary. Ben has performed everywhere. This man is an all-rounder. He's based in Sydney and is always on the go. What can we say... the man is TALENTED!

Vocals – Grace Senituli possesses one of the most purest RnB voices you will ever hear. Grace grew up listening to traditional Pacific Island music and enriched her island music heritage with pop, RnB, dance and other contemporary sounds. Inspired mostly by her family, friends and the musicians that surround her life with the sweet sounds of soul. Grace began her singing career at the young age of 13, and after leaving school in 1999 moved into full time work as a recording and performing artist. Over her career Grace has recorded with a series of both local and international producers, and is now performing with some of Sydney’s top RnB and Soul groups, which include Brown Sugar, Soul Nights and Suite AZ and can be seen at venues including The Marble Bar at The Hilton and The Golden Sheaf in Double Bay.

Vocals – Barry Southgate. A favourite with RnB lovers... and the ladies. Despite bowing out as a Top 24 finalist, Barry was the only non-Top 12 or Wildcard contestant selected to perform at the Australian Idol Grand Finale in 2004 at the Sydney Opera House before millions. Post Idol, Barry quickly went from a virtual unknown to being extremely high in demand. He was notably the only contestant of his entire season asked to host a PR tour for Channel Ten, as well as to be the special celebrity guest alongside Neighbours star, Dan O'Connor, at Telstra's Australian Idol media presentation. However, it was 2005 through to 2010 that proved to be Barry's most promising period yet, with him being involved in more than a dozen recording projects as a singer, songwriter, vocal arranger and producer. To add to his staggering amount of achievements, he was personally requested to lend vocals to Guy Sebastian’s ‘Receive the Power’, the song chosen by the Vatican as the international theme for World Youth Day 2008. Subsequently, Barry went on to actually perform at WYD ‘08, his performance during the crucial ‘Stations of the Cross’ TV broadcast reportedly being viewed by more than half a billion people globally.
