Beatles experience with the Beatnix - music loved by all generations

Fifty years after the Beatles stopped touring,† their music remains popular with people of all ages who grew up with the legendary British group that changed pop music forever.† Along with their children and grandchildren they are all keen to be part of real live Beatles experience.

35 years after they formed, The Beatnix, regarded as the best Beatles tribute show in Australia are taking people back to Beatlemania - in gigs from backyard garden parties to clubs, cruises, festivals and special corporate events.

Founder, Tony Dean who formed the group in Perth in 1980 eight months before John Lennon was fatally shot, said the recent release of a Beatles remastered DVD and now The Beatles being available on ITunes had also fuelled interest in live performances of Beatles music.

"People can't get enough of the authentic Beatles sound, they never go out of style" Dean said. "So many people who loved them in their heyday did not get to see them perform so they love dancing along as we belt out their favorite tunes in true Beatles style along with the costumes and on-stage quips typical of the Fab Four"

That's not where the authenticity ends -† the group also has the genuine musical instruments, guitars including Gretsch, Rickenbacker, Gibson and Epiphone, Ludwig drums and Vox amplifiers identical to the ones that were used by the Beatles and would be recognized by Beatles aficionados.

The Beatnix play a string of Beatles favorites from the early hits right through and including the last album.

In the early set they wear the classic black and white gear then for the second half of the show the legendary

Sgt Peppers gear is featured.

Songs include Twist & Shout, I Saw Her Standing There, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Boys, From Me To You, Please Please Me, Hard Days Night, Eight Days A Week, You Can't Do That, Canít Buy Me Love, Help, Honey Don't, She's A Woman, All My Loving, She Loves You, All You Need Is Love, Sgt Peppers LHCB, With A Little Help From My Friends, Penny Lane, Something, Come Together, Lady Madonna, Get Back, Ob-la-di-Ob-la-da, Ballad of John & Yoko, Birthday, Yellow Submarine, Back in The USSR, Revolution and Hey Jude.

Dean said that with many baby boomers turning 50, 60 and 70 The Beatnix were playing at many "happy birthday parties" (When their 64) and wedding anniversaries either being hired to play in a hall or backyard garden.

Most Clubs and Hotels will hire out a function room and offer catering which makes organization a lot easier.†† The Beatnix also perform at weddings and enjoy nothing more than a surprise event for a Beatles fan.

"Everyone loves the Beatles sound and we see that at the parties especially when there are different ages groups rocking along, but even at the club gigs we are no longer surprised at the younger generation turning up," he said
