Home Party & Covers Cover Bands S to Z UK Countdown

In the sea of covers bands on the market today it is very unusual to find a band that is unique and has a strong concept attached to it, UK COUNTDOWN has this edge. Comprising of ex-members from Australian Made, Rattle and Hum the U2 Show and The Cocker Down Under show, UK COUNTDOWN has seasoned musicians to back this already strong concept.

UK COUNTDOWN as the name suggests covers artists from not only England but also Scotland, Ireland and Wales. With such a broad brief as this, UK COUNTDOWN covers all the biggest hits from this region. But doesn’t every covers band just play the same tired old covers I hear you say?

The answer to this is no, UK COUNTDOWN plays primarily the newest music from the UK and that is where this band is unique. From Robbie Williams to The Verve to Blur and Top Loader and Snow Patrol our vision is to play the newest and freshest UK hits to the pub goers of Sydney.

UK COUNTDOWN is a fully costumed show with four musicians who are dedicated to capturing the sounds and the energy of the UK’s newest and chart topping acts. With the Irish pub market in Sydney still being strong UK COUNTDOWN would fit perfectly into this and cater to the Irish backpackers that flood into Sydney when the warm weather hits.

UK COUNTDOWN is a perfect show for any venue and to any crowd. Whilst mainly playing the newest hits from the UK, the band also covers the older and better known artists such as Dire Straits and The Police just to name a few.

UK COUNTDOWN is Dave Pattern vocals, Sean Phegan Bass guitar, Adam Watts guitar and Sam on drums.
